The NextScene Kids & Youth Film Festival 2025 brings three days of films, workshops, and activities celebrating the imagination of children and young people. With the theme “Growing Through Imagination”, the festival showcases fresh voices and creative stories from Indonesia and around the world. A festive start and award ceremony featuring young filmmakers. Special screenings for kids and teens, from lively animations to thought-provoking youth stories. Original short films made by young filmmakers, with winners announced at the festival’s close. A selection of international films that open windows to other cultures and worlds. Hands-on sessions in storytelling, performance, and creativity for children and families. All screenings and events take place at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Jakarta’s cultural hub.
