The NextScene Kids & Youth Film Festival takes place across two premier locations in Jakarta: Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) and CGV fX Sudirman. CGV fX Sudirman
On the 7th floor of fX Sudirman Mall, this cinema seats about 138 viewers and hosts our Opening Ceremony each year. It’s a short walk from Istora Mandiri MRT station, with elevators making the 7th floor easy to reach.
Bioskop Kineforum – Teater Asrul Sani
On the 4th floor of the Trisno Soemardjo Building, this cinema seats 90 and hosts many of our films. Look for signs once you enter TIM, elevators and ramps make access simple.
Bioskop Kineforum – Teater Sjumandjaja
Just next door to Asrul Sani, this 50-seat theatre is also on the 4th floor. It’s cozy and perfect for intimate screenings.
Ruang Latihan Seni Rupa
Held in the art studio on the 2nd floor of the same building. A great spot for our creative workshops. Easy to find once inside the Trisno Soemardjo entrance.
Access to
Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM)
- Cikini Station → closest stop, just 5–10 min walk to TIM along Jalan Cikini Raya.
- Gondangdia Station → 10–15 min walk or a short ojek ride.
- Alight at Bundaran HI Station.
- Continue with TransJakarta Corridor 5M (Ancol–Kampung Melayu) or 6H (Lebak Bulus–Senen) to Halte Taman Ismail Marzuki.
- From Gambir Station → 10 min by car/ojek.
- From Pasar Senen Station → 15 min by car/ojek.
- Direct stop at Halte Taman Ismail Marzuki.
- Served by Corridor 5M and 6H, connecting TIM with major hubs across Jakarta.
- Search “Taman Ismail Marzuki” in your app.
- Parking is available on-site, but space may be limited during peak events.
- TIM has gentle ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms, making it easy for families with strollers or mobility needs.
- Signage and wide shaded paths connect theaters, galleries, library, and planetarium—navigation is easy.
- Free seating and plazas are available on-site for rest or snack time.
- Facilities include the library with children’s corner, galleries, planetarium, and multiple theaters for interactive family experiences.
Access to
CGV fX Sudirman
- Alight at Istora Mandiri Station.
- Take the exit pointing towards fX Sudirman / Gelora Bung Karno.
- Walk approximately 3 minutes along the pedestrian path to the mall entrance.
- Take the elevator or escalator to the 7th floor to reach the CGV cinemas.
- Alight at Halte Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).
- This stop is located directly in front of fX Sudirman Mall and serves major routes including Corridor 1 (Blok M – Kota).
- Exit the halte and take the pedestrian bridge directly to the mall area.
- Head up to the 7th floor to reach CGV.
- Alight at Sudirman Station.
- Walk to the adjacent Dukuh Atas BNI MRT station, take the MRT heading towards Lebak Bulus, and alight at Istora Mandiri Station.
- Alternatively, take TransJakarta Corridor 1 from the nearby Tosari or Dukuh Atas halte directly to Halte GBK.
- For families arriving by car or ride-hailing apps (Gojek/Grab), set your destination to fX Sudirman.
- Use the convenient drop-off lobby at the main mall entrance.
- Ample secure parking is available inside the mall’s parking structure.
- fX Sudirman is fully accessible for families, featuring smooth floors and spacious elevators connecting all levels, making it easy to navigate with strollers or mobility aids.
- The mall offers family-friendly restrooms, nursing rooms, and a comfortable prayer room (musholla).
- Because CGV is located inside the mall, you have immediate access to plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores for family meals or quick snacks before and after the film screenings.
