Our daily movie screenings, workshops, and play spaces are held at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), and our special red-carpet events take place at CGV fX Sudirman. No online registration or purchase is required! All festival screenings and workshops are 100% free. Simply arrive at our venues and pick up your tickets at the festival desk on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. If a specific film screening fills up, don’t worry! We have multiple cinema rooms running simultaneously, plus active play spaces and workshops you can enjoy while waiting for the next round. Our hands-on creative workshops and interactive play areas are open to all kids and teens. You can register directly at the activity room doors on the day of the event. Spots open up throughout the day, so there is always a chance to join the fun. The schedule is divided by days and color-coded by age recommendations (KidsScene for families and young children, YouthScene for teenagers). You can check times, locations, and film runtimes on our main Schedule page to plan your perfect day. We have something for everyone! Our selections are carefully curated for early childhood, primary school kids, teenagers, and parents. Whether you want to watch beautiful animated international films or join a parenting discussion panel, you are welcome here. Yes, YouthScene features different film line-ups across separate sessions. Check the schedule details to see what is playing during each time block so you don’t miss any stories. To make sure our young movie fans don’t miss a single moment, all international films feature clear, easy-to-read Indonesian subtitles. Many films for very young children are highly visual, making them incredibly fun and simple to follow. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before your scheduled film or workshop. This gives you plenty of time to pick up your free tickets at the festival desks and find your seats comfortably. Screenings vary by age group to keep younger kids engaged. Programs for early childhood run about 45 minutes, while selections for older children and feature films run between 60 to 80 minutes. Yes, absolutely! Both Taman Ismail Marzuki and CGV fX Sudirman are fully accessible, stroller-friendly, and equipped with comfortable rest areas. There are also plenty of family-friendly food options located right inside both venues. Children of all ages are welcome! Our early childhood spaces and films are safely designed for young children and parents to explore together. We just ask guardians to stay with their children at all times to enjoy the experience together safely. You are welcome to take photos in our interactive play areas, workshops, and festival photo booths! However, to protect the filmmakers’ work, recording or flash photography inside the cinema theaters during film screenings is strictly prohibited. Water in closed bottles is perfectly fine to keep your little ones hydrated. To keep our theaters clean and comfortable for everyone, hot food and large meals are not allowed inside the screening rooms. If you misplace an item, don’t worry! Please visit our primary festival information desks at Kineforum inside Taman Ismail Marzuki or the main booth at CGV fX Sudirman, and our friendly team will gladly help you find it. We follow strict youth-safe guidelines to protect all children. We enforce a two-adult safety rule, require written guardian consent for photography of minors, and maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for any unsafe behavior.
